Micah Bell is one of the most heinous characters in video game history. He poisoned Dutch's mind while also serving as a double agent for the Pinkertons, making him the single worst member of this otherwise beloved crew. Hunting him down at the end of the game and making him pay for his atrocities makes for a great time indeed, and ends Red Dead Redemption 2 on a pretty high note despite all of the tragedies that players had to deal with up to this point.

Regardless of what players think about him, it can't be denied that Micah Bell's performance is a thing of beauty. He's incredibly well-written and Peter Blomquist really nails the delivery of every line, making players hate Micah and everything he does in Red Dead Redemption 2.
10 "I'm A Survivor, Black Lung. A Survivor! That's All There Is, Living And Dying."
After Arthur contracts tuberculosis, Micah wastes no opportunity in taunting his rival about it. It's a low move that really goes to show just how despicable a character Micah is.
Even after being accused of being a traitor, Micah has absolutely no regrets about what he did. His villainous personality comes out quite well with an amazing script that makes every player hate this character.
9 "You Shot Me! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. You Shot Me Pretty Good..."
Micah's death is a moment of redemption in this game, with this character finally paying for his atrocities after the longest time. Despite Dutch's fall from grace, he still manages to see the light and ends Micah's life for good.
After being fatally wounded, Micah utters this line before trying to get a shot of his own, only to be outgunned by Marston and riddled with bullets. He walks in the snow for a while before his body gives out on him and he dies.
8 "When I Fall, I Don't Want No Fuss."
Micah constantly feels like he's more important and beloved than he has any right to be. Assuming that his death would be a big deal, he proudly asks everyone in the crew to not make any fuss when he dies.

This causes Lenny to give a hilarious retort, saying that everyone would throw a party when Micah breathed his last. It's a shame that Lenny didn't stick around for too long, losing his life during the Saint Denis bank robbery.
7 "Dutch Always Said You Were A Big Shadow Cast By A Tiny Tree."
Ever since the start of the game, Micah was always trying to make Arthur doubt his place in the gang. Despite Dutch trusting Arthur like a brother, Micah tried to forge a rift between the two.
This line was said in Chapter 2 and proved just how badly Micah wanted to be Dutch's right-hand man, leading to Arthur losing his position in the process. This seed of doubt was one of many that Micah sowed throughout the game.
6 "You And Me, Sons Of Dutch. That Makes Us Brothers, And Sometimes... Brothers Make Mistakes."
Early on, no one could've expected the dark turn that Micah's character would take. His banter with Arthur has a friendlier tone, but there were indications that this character was hiding something from the get-go.
This can be seen when Arthur and Micah have a bit of an aggressive argument, causing Micah to say this line in a bid to alleviate the situation. It doesn't sound like a lot, but players who've finished the title can see Micah's true character slipping through the cracks here.
5 "Black Lung, You're Back. Hooray."
Near the end of the game when Micah had completely poisoned the gang, Arthur decided to end this character's treachery once and for all. He rolled up to the camp, with his tuberculosis clearly getting the better of him at this point.
Hearing Micah's sarcastic greeting is quite hilarious, and is perfectly in line with his character. His trademark 'Black Lung' taunt hurts even more, given the seriousness of this disease.
4 "You Hit Like You Dress… All Feminine."
Micah's a pretty despicable character, having a ton of negative character traits that make him pretty unlikeable. He's sexist, racist, and holds pretty much every other bigoted thought possible.
Even when getting punched, the man doesn't miss an opportunity to show just how hateful he is. It's stuff like this that makes his death incredibly cathartic and a treat to witness in every way.
3 "What's The Point Of Having All These Women In Camp If None Of Them Will Even F**k You If You Put A Gun Up To Their Head?"
This line is said by Micah during an optional mission where players have to rob a stagecoach. Once again, it's another indication of how twisted Micah's mind really is.

Of course, some people may argue that this line was mostly said in jest, but it's obvious that Micah isn't outright joking about this. If he had full reign of this crew, then the atrocities he'd commit would be quite heinous indeed.
2 "Hahaha, Blue Balls."
If it wasn't clear by now, Micah does love to taunt anyone and everyone around him. His rude persona is pretty overwhelming, leading to everyone in the camp being pretty sick of his antics.
Perhaps it was the manner in which he was ostracized from the group that caused Micah to betray everyone in the first place. Regardless, he certainly made it pretty hard to like him in any way, which is totally his fault and no one else's.
1 "Wha...? How Come Arthur Gets A Room And I Get A Bunkbed Next To Bill Williamson And A Bunch Of Darkies!?"
Micah was pretty insecure about Arthur and how highly Dutch held his opinion. From the very start, it seemed like Arthur was getting to live more comfortably, and this insecurity rears its head when Arthur gets a room while Micah has to share his sleeping quarters with other members of the crew.
Racist undertones aside, this frustration is pretty amusing in its own way. Micah may act all high and mighty, but he has a pretty fragile ego that gets shattered pretty much all the time.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
